RED COSTUME JEWELLERY FROM MY SHOP AT ALFIES ANTIQUES, LONDON

I am in Vintage Modes at Alfies Antiques in Marylebone, central London.  I sell a mixture of jewellery and accessories.  Most of the jewellery is vintage but I also sell a few modern/collectible pieces - such as Lea Stein and Marion Godart.  Lea Stein is particularly sought after and customers love the vibrant Marion Godart clip earrings.  It is a red day today - as you can see from these pieces!

LEA STEIN BROOCH - THE MONKEY - BLACK & IVORINE

This is a genuine Lea Stein monkey brooch - not one of the cheap copies/fakes that are around.  Please do not buy them.  This brooch is made of at least 16 pieces of cellulose acetate and take skill and time to make. It is one of my favourites of Lea Stein's brooch - especially in this colouring.  Price £65 ref: 3257 D24/14

LEA STEIN BROOCH - BLUE OWL WITH LIME GREEN FEET & EYES

This Lea Stein owl brooch is in shades of blue.  The rectangles catch the light as it move.  The feet and outside of the eyes are in a lime green.  Unusual colours for the owl.  It is a genuuine Lea Stein with the correct Lea Stein Paris pin on the back.  Beware the unauthorised copies.  Full details on my web site.  Price £65 ref: 3150 C77/37

ART DECO JEWELLERY - RED

Finally got around to tidying the Art Deco Cabinet.  Took everything out of the red shelf but finding it impossible to put it all back without overcrowding it!  So many small items!  Bakelite, galalith, celluloid, dress clips, brooches, earrings etc.  Necklace fine on their stands - but the rest is such a job to disply.  If you are passing +Grays Antiques  do drop in and take a look!

LEA STEIN BROOCH - THE PEACOCK - GREEN BODY

This is the Lea Stein peacock brooch.  It has a vibrant green body.  The feathers are in a ?Liberty print material - black background with circles.  These prints are getting harder to find - especially in the peacock brooch and I was glad to get this one.  This means it is a bit more expensive than some of my Lea Steins.  It all depends on what I paid, and whether I think I can get another!  Price £85 reference 2724 C3/26 www.gillianhorsup.com - I usually have a good selection in my shop at Vintage Modes, Grays antiques in central London.
