LEA STEIN BROOCH - THE PEACOCK - LIBERTY STYLE PATTER - BLUE & GREEN

Love this Lea Stein peacock brooch.  It has a shiny green body and the feathers are in a Liberty style fabric pattern.  The pattern resemble fans and is in blue, green and white.  One of Lea Stein's more delicate designs!  Of course - for me - it has to be a genuine Lea Stein - I do not sell the cheap Chinese copies.  It is marked on the back Lea Stein Paris.  You will see the copies all over the place but they are not nearly as beautiful as an original Lea Stein.  They are cheaply produced - unlike a Stein brooch.  This one measures approx. 2 3/4 inches across.  Ref: 3139 C81/19

LEA STEIN BROOCH - THE PEACOCK - GREEN BODY

This is the Lea Stein peacock brooch.  It has a vibrant green body.  The feathers are in a ?Liberty print material - black background with circles.  These prints are getting harder to find - especially in the peacock brooch and I was glad to get this one.  This means it is a bit more expensive than some of my Lea Steins.  It all depends on what I paid, and whether I think I can get another!  Price £85 reference 2724 C3/26 www.gillianhorsup.com - I usually have a good selection in my shop at Vintage Modes, Grays antiques in central London.
