ART DECO PERIOD EARLY PLASTIC VERY LARGE BELT BUCKLE - TRANGLES WITH FLOWERS
This belt buckle is an amazing size! It is probably make of galalith and consists of 2 triangles - one with red and one with orange flowers. Metal fittings on the back. It would make such a wonderful belt - and would not be difficult to do - all the fitting are there. Be brave and have a go! Full details on the web site as usual! Price £78 ref: 3071 C61/15

ART DECO BLACK & SILVER GLASS BELT BUCKLE
In the Art Deco period a lot of clothes were made by a dress maker - or at home. Buttons, belt buckles and other trimmings would be bought to go with the material of the outfit. This Art Deco belt buckles would have been used to make a belt for a dress. It is in black and silver glass. It has 4 metal rings on the back to sew on to the belt. It is in good condition considering its age! Full details are on my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com - I usually have a selection of belt buckles of different periods in my shop at Grays Antiques. GALALITH BELT BUCKLE - RED & GREEN LEAVES
I love the Art Deco period belt buckles. This one is in red and pale green galalith and is in the shape of two leaves. It is very easy to attach this to a belt. You could buy a belt (1 1/2 inches in width) remove the buckle and attach it to this buckle - with a stapler if you cannot sew! It could also be used as a cloak fasterner. Price £68 ref: 2920 C39/9
