CZECH VINTAGE FILIGREE BROOCH WITH YELLOW GLASS STONES

This is a Czech vintage filigree brooch with yellow glass stones.  It has lots of small flat backed yellow glass stones and one large facted stone.  It has aged beautifully - losing the shiny gilding and showing the brass underneath.  All the stones are claw set. FILIGREE BROOCH - LARGE CZECH. VINTAGE - OVAL WITH MIXED COLOURS GLASS STONES

This wonderful Czech vintage brooch was probably made in Gablonz in the 1930's.  It is quite large - being approx 3 x 2 inches and an oval shape.  The glass stones are different shapes and colours.  The metal work is elaborate.  It is in very good condition for the age.  Great brooch to wear on a winter shawl!  Ref: 3141 C81/11 Price £88

FILIGREE VINTAGE BROOCH - WHITE METAL AND RED GLASS STONES

I do love filigree brooches - many of them made in Czech.  Personally the bigger the better - but I know this is not everyone's taste.  This is much smaller - about a 1 1/2 inches square.  It has red glass faceted stones and is set on a white metal base. This has small leaves and a diamond pattern
