CZECH VINTAGE FILIGREE BROOCH WITH YELLOW GLASS STONES

This is a Czech vintage filigree brooch with yellow glass stones.  It has lots of small flat backed yellow glass stones and one large facted stone.  It has aged beautifully - losing the shiny gilding and showing the brass underneath.  All the stones are claw set. CZECH VINTAGE LARGE FILIGREE BROOCH WITH FAUX TURQUOISE GLASS STONES

I just love the early Czech filigree brooches.  Have made resolution to actually wear them in my shop at Alfies Antiques - instead of just looking and admiring them!  This one is quite large and has faux turquoise glass stones - which are claw set.  The gilt on brass filigree background has other pieces attached to the front to give a 3-D effect.  It is not so shiny golden as it would have been new - and I prefer it this way.  Full details on my web site.  Price £75 ref: 3201 YL
