This is the
Lea Stein half colerette brooch. In Judith Just's book 'Lea Stein Jewelery' (Schiffer) it is also referred to as 'Modern Woman' but is not normally referred to that way. The hat is a shiny patterned brown/beige colour. The face is ivorine with a black eye. The piece over the ear is a red/MOP pattern with a circular piece in the middle. The colorette is black with gold markings. It measures roughly two inches diameter. It is a genuine Lea Stein brooch with Lea Stein Paris on the pin. (Please see picture of the back). 1920s FLAPPER RED AND BLACK GLASS BEADS DRAWSTRING BAG
This is a flapper period, 1920s red ad black glass beads drawstring bag. The beads are in surprisingly good condition for the age of the bag. The black beads are more of a black/grey colour. It would have been carried with a flapper style dress for evening wear. (Think Downton Abbey). The lining is red. It has a drawstring cord. MARIE-CHRISTINE PAVONE PURPLE CAT BROOCH
This is a purple cat brooch made by Marie-Christine Pavone. It is made currently from reworked galalith. Galalith is an older plastic - a form of casein. She cuts and polished it to a high degree. This has come from Pavone so is in unused condition. It has two glass eyes and painted decoration. It is signed 'Pavone' on the back. I have not had a Pavone cat in this colour purple before! It measures approx 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 inches. Price £65 ref: 3383 D54/13
