These earrings are from the Art Deco period. They are quite large, filigree, with pierced tops. The stones are both flat backed, and pointed white diamante. They may have had a gold wash over them originally but the metal is now nearer to a white metal colour - they look beautifully aged! The condition is good. They measure approx 2 3/4 inches. See them on my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com - and in my shop at Grays Antiques in central London. Price £120 reference 2744 B138/28

WHERE CAN I FIND BLUE VINTAGE JEWELLERY IN LONDON?
I am in a blue mood today and have been sorting out my blue vintage jewellery - and have chosen a selection for a photo. It includes blue and white diamante, a blue silver butterfly brooch, some lapiz blue Czech glass and a pair of clip earrings. This is just a small part of the enormous selection of vintage jewellery I have at Grays Antiques. Do take a look at my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com - but this is just a small selection of the stock that I carry at Grays.

ART DECO CELLULOID HAT PINS
I love the Art Deco celluloid short hat pins and have quite a varied stock of them at the moment. They were worn in the cloche hats and berets - fashionable at the time. Sometimes they had a matching end - but otherwise I supply a modern hat pin end. They can be worn on a hat, coat, jacket lapel or dress and are usually quite light weight. The prices range from approx. £25 - £65 - the double ended ones being more expensive. I always have a good selection in my shop at Grays Antiques in central London.

RED AND DIAMANTE VINTAGE JEWELLERY
Here's some red and diamante vintage jewellery that would look fabulous on Valentine's day! Two bracelets and a pair of earrings. The bracelets are from an earlier period than the earrings (which are probably Attwood and Sawyer.) Love the red colour. I always have a good selection of vintage glass stones and diamante jewellery in my shop at Grays Antiques. I am in The Mews part of the Antique Center. Full details of how to get there on my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com - hope to see you there!

CELLULOID BOX - SMALL MULTICOLOURED
I love little boxes and was so glad to get this small multicoloured celluloid box! It must be 70 years old and - despite being made of very thin celluloid - it is still in good condition! Somebody must have looked after it well during its lifetime! Celluloid needs to be stored out of direct sunlight and away from extremes of heat/cold. Full details on my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com - price £40 reference 2738 C3/33

CZECH VINTAGE BROOCH - MOTTLED GREEN GLASS AND MARCASITE
This is a vintage Czech brooch from around the 1930s. It has a central mottled green glass stone. It is mounted in a white metal. Unusually for this sort of brooch, it has marcasite stones set into a leave pattern round the edge - and a central cluster of marcasite. I love vintage Czech jewellery and always have some pieces in my shop at Grays Antiques - near Bond Street tube station in central London. www.gillianhorsup.com - reference 2737 C5/2 price £68.
