NEIGER EGYPTIAN REVIVAL BEADS NECKLACE -WHITE BROWN BEADS - ELEPHANT & SCARABS

A Neiger long Egyptian Revival bead necklace in white with brown. There is an elephant bead in the centre where the two sides join, and 8 scarab beads. I am attributing this to Neiger as the quality of the beads is so good - although of course little was signed.  However I do not think this is the original stringing so have no way of knowing if this was the original design. The original thread would probably have been silk and this would have deteriated after nearly 90 years! The stringing is not new but is safe to wear. The beads are in good condition for their age. Top to bottom the necklace measures about 19 1/2 inches and goes over the head easily.
