AURORA BOREALIS 5 STRAND VINTAGE GLASS BEAD NECKLACE

This is an aurora Borealis 5 strand necklace with a gilt clasp.  This would probably have been made between the mid 1950s and the mid 1960s.  The clear faceted glass beads have been coated in a process invented by Swarovski.  It was very popular but waned after the mid 1960s.  The faceted beads have a lemon yellow tinge to them.   reference 2865 C23/75
