1950-1960s PROGRAMME GLASSES - FAUX MOTHER OF PEARL WITH CARNIVAL DIAMANTE

These vintage fold-up glasses would have been used for reading programmes, menus etc. when a woman wanted something more glamorous than a pair of reading glasses!  They are in faux mother of pearl and have carnival glass stones.  These were only made after the mid 1950s so the glasses would have been made shortly after that.  This pair are in good condition and the handle works well. PROGRAMME GLASSES WITH HANDLE - VINTAGE - GREEN & BLACK

This pair of vintage programme glasses was used for reading programmes or menus in the 1950s.  Much more stylish than ordinary reading glasses!  They are in a mottle green plastic with black dots.  I often get the ones that fold up small but these are much rarer and I was glad to get them.  I do with people would dress up more and use all these wonderful vintage accessories!  Price £75 ref: 3034 B88/4
