This filigree dress clip is unusual. At first glance I thought the black, fan shaped black glass pieces were lots of separate stones - but looking through a magnifier I realise that there are just 2 black glass fan shaped pieces. The cream enamel is hard enamelling not painted. It is a beautifully made clip! The clip fitting at the back is made so that you could put it on a gilt chain of a reasonable thickness if you wanted to wear it round the neck. Love it!
