KIGU FLYING SAUCER COMPACT - 1950'S

This is the iconic 1950's Kigu flying saucer compact.  There were 3 types made - the one with the musical movement, this one without and a plain gilt one.  The enamelled one came in different colours - but the deep blue was the most common colour.  There was a lot of interest in space travel in the 1950's.  There is a full description of the compact on my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com - reference 2616 b133/36 price £295 together with a condition report.

ART DECO HAT FLASH/CLOCHE PIN, BLACK CELLULOID AND DIAMENTE

Here's a large Art Deco hat flash or cloche pin.  These were worn in the hats of the period and had short pins.  This would come with a hat pin end.  They could be worn in a hat, beret or on a jacket lapel.  They could also brighten up a Deco clutch bag.  Full details on my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com - price £35 reference 2615 J.

CZECH GILT FILIGREE VINTAGE DRESS CLIP WITH RED GLASS BEADS

3 FLEXIBLE, MACHINE CUT, GOLD TONE BRACELETS - 1970/80s

J. TOSTRUP - NORWAY - BLUE ENAMEL ABSTRACT BROOCH

I love enamel and this mid century modern brooch by J. Tostrup fits the bill!  It is in a vibrant blue colour.  It is marked 'Sterling J Tostrup Norway'.  As it does not have a British (or equivalent) Hall mark it cannot be sold as Sterling in this country.  However Tostrup is a very respected Norwegian firm so I am quite happy about it.  Full details are on my web site - including dimensions.  Ref: 2606 B130/7 Price £115 - and there are more photos.

KARL LAGERFELD - 2 BRUSHES - GOLD TONE LARGE BROOCH

LEA STEIN BROOCH - TALL SITTING CAT - BLACK & GREY
