BLACK SEQUIN VINTAGE EVENING BAG

This is a lovely black sequins and small black beads evening bag - probably from the 1950's.  It was made in France for Kendal Milne & Co - possibly the world's first department store.  It celebrated 175 years of trading in 2010 but is now known as 'House of Fraser Manchester'.    It is well made and has a pattern of sequins and small beads with small beaded rosettes along the top.  It has a gilt snake chain handle.  It is in very good condition - with a satin lining.  www.gillianhorsup.com for further details and more pictures.  Ref: 2496 B114/8 Price £78. AUSTRIAN VINTAGE BROOCH - LAPIS GLASS STONES
