VINTAGE FAUX PEARL DROP PIERCED EARRINGS

This is a pair of vintage faux pearl and gold tone metal earrings that came out of a shop that shut in 1972.  They were assembled in the shop from mainly old Czech components.  The pearl drops are quite beautiful.  The gold coloured metal components have lost their shine - but I like them that way.  They were lying in the shop for over 45 years but must have been well wrapped because the pearl drops are in very good condition.  Full details on my web site as usual - www.gillianhorsup.com - price £55 ref: 3347 YL.  Please look under 'vintage diamante & pearls'.

BUTLER & WILSON GREY METAL & MARCASITE STONES CROSS PENDANT ON CHAIN

This is a Butler & Wilson pendant necklace in grey metal in the shape of a cross.  The cross and the bail are decorated with marcasite stones.  The cross is quite deep giving a 3-D effect.  I have no idea of the date of this piece.  I have bought a number of items of Butler & Wilson - some quite large - but I have not been able to date a single piece!  They will be going on to the web site from time to time.  Ref: 3345 Price £75

LEA STEIN BROOCH - THE PANTHER - SNAKESKIN & BLACK

This is the Lea Stein panther brooch in a snakeskin and black pattern.  It is one of the widest of the Lea Stein brooches. STRATTON VINTAGE LIPSTICK HOLDER & MIRROR - ROSE DESIGN

This is a Stratton lipstick holder and mirror in gold tone metal.  It has a rose decoration on a wavy pattern fan.  You push the fan to the right to expose the mirror.  On the back it is attached to a lipstick case.  The lipstick is empty as it is unused.  It is marked Stratton and Made in England.  Probably 1950/60s.  Full details are on my web site www.gillianhorsup.com Price £45 ref: 3344 D44/1

ART DECO NECKLACE - GREEN GLASS BEADS, CHROME BEADS AND BEAD CAPS

This is a stunning Art Deco necklace resembling those made by Jakob Bengel.  It consists of swirley green glass beads, chrome beads and lots of chrome bead caps strung on chain with a barrel clasp.  These necklace are very difficult to find now - especially ones with lots of bead caps.  These are often broken up and the bead caps used for earrings.  I am glad this one has not suffered that fate - it is just so stunning as an example of an Art Deco necklace.  Full details are as usual on my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com - under 'vintage necklaces'.  I have always loved Art Deco and always try to find good examples.  Ref: 3340 YL Price £150.

VINTAGE SMALL PETIT POINT AUSTRIAN PERFUME BOTTLE BROOCH

This small Austrian perfume bottle is hanging on a bar so it can be worn as a brooch.  It has a glass dabber so easy to top up your perfume!  It has a petit point flower decoration on the front.  It has Austria in very small letters on the stopper.  As the stopper is a glass one it is older than the brooches with a plastic dipper.  I am not an expert in the dating of these brooches but think it would be between 1930-1950s.    Measurements on my web site with extra pictures.  Ref: 3339 D42/11 Price £55

ANNE KLEIN VINTAGE GOLD TONE FLOWER SPRAY BROOCH

This vintage gold tone spray brooch has grey and yellow glass stones.  It was made by the Anne Klein company but I do not know the date.  I did not know that Annie Klein only ran her company between 1968 and 1974 when she died.  I love the clean lines of this company's 20th century output.  I understand the company is still making but never seem to see the current stock.  I love the output in the 1980s - especially the necklaces.  This brooch is good quality, design and condition.  Price £75 ref: 3336 D42/21
