1950s CELLULOID FEATHERS CLIP EARRINGS WITH AURORA BOREALIS DECORATION

This pair of 1950s celluloid feathers clip earrings stand out because they are a little different fro most of the feather earrings I see about.  They have feathers in 4 different colours - yellow, pink, blue and black - and also have a gold tone metal flower spray decoration with yellow aurora borealis glass stones.  They are on their original card.  (See them on my web site for measurements and additioal photographs).  Price £40 ref: 3334.

EGYPTIAN REVIVAL VINTAGE NECKLACE - WITH BLUE GREEN GLASS PHAROAH'S HEAD AND SCARAB BEETLES

This Egyptian Revival necklace was constructed by a shop that shut in 1972 from old components - mainly Czech.  The blue green glass pharoah's head and the scarabs are Czech. glass pieces.  The chain is old.  The filigree pieces too.  Not sure about the clasp.  I have had to re-glue the glass pieces to the filigree base as the old glues had disintegrated.   There is a very full description of this piece on my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com - under 'vintage necklaces'.  The neck length is about 20 inches.  The price is £120 and the reference is 3332 YL

ART DECO SHORT CIGARETTE HOLDER - RED WITH BLACK/WHITE STRIPES

This is a beautifully red and shiny Art Deco period short cigarette holder.  It is in good condition and appears to be unused.  It measures just over 3 inches.  I am not a cigarette smoked but love these early cigarette holders - they are just so lovely!  It would look wonderful in a cabinet full of Art Deco small collectibles.  Ref: 3331 D29/21 www.gillianhorsup.com - under Vintage Smoking Smoking Items.

BOUCHER - MID CENTURY MODERNIST GOLD TONE BRACELET

This is a Marcel Boucher mid century modernist gold tone bracelet.  I have never had one by Boucher before.  It has a c Boucher mark so it would have to be post 1955.  It has a shiny pattern of 6 sided figures with a matt lined pattern round the pieces.  It has a safety chain and measure approx 7 1/4 inches.  I have a fondness for mid century modern pieces and so was very glad to get this one!  Full condition report and more pictures on my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com - click on 'Manufacturers' and find Bouchet and you will see the post.  Ref: 3339 D42/26

TWO HEADED VINTAGE PANTHER NECKLACE IN GOLD TONE METAL WITH DIAMANTE & GREEN EYES

This is a vintage necklace consisting of two panther heads in diamante with green eyes and mounted on a flat, gold tone chain with a wrap over clasp. This necklace is of very good quality and I am surprised that it is not marked.  It is also in good condition.  It probably dates from the late 1980s when the Duchess of Winsor's jewellery was sold - resulting in a lot of copies of her pieces - and she was fond of panther jewellery!  The necklace is priced at £88.  It measures about 18 inches and the reference is 3329 D42/26  see it on www.gillianhorsup.com - under 'Vintage Necklaces'

DOUBLE ROW VINTAGE GREEN GLASS BEADS NECKLACE WITH FAUX JADE CLASP

This is a double row of swirley green beads with a faux jade clasp. VINTAGE CZECH. BROOCH - MULTICOLOURED GLASS STONES - NEIGER

This is a vintage Czech. brooch in gold tone over brass metal and with oval cabochon glass stones in red, blue and green.  It has small round red cabochon stones too.  It has also been painted with enamel paint on the leave and flowers.  On my web site I have cited the reasons I believe that this might be by Neiger - please take a look - www.gillianhorsup.com    Of course very little Neiger was marked but new info is being discovered.  I love this brooch which - although understated - I find very beautiful!  Price £88 Ref: 3326 B114/28
