CELLULOID SEWING CONTAINER - OBELISK SHAPED - FOR COTTONS, THIMBLE, NEEDLES
An unusual, vintage, celluloid sewing container. Inside it has a reel for the cottons, a brown celluloid thimble and a hole at the top of the reel for needles. I always love to buy these Deco period containers. Were they taken on holiday? For everyday life a larger workbox would be used. See full details of this charming example on my website.
